NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Two Mid-South Conference teams are ranked in the postseason NAIA Women's Tennis Coaches' Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.

Following its run to the national semifinals last week, Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) finished 2014 at No. 4 with 313 voting points. The Blue Raiders finished 17-4 during the season after falling to eventual national champion and No. 1 ranked Georgia Gwinnett.

NAIA Women's Tennis All-Americans

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Four Mid-South Conference women's tennis student-athletes have earned National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American honors, NAIA officials announced on Monday.

In addition to the four to earn All-American honors, three more MSC student-athletes earned honorable mention honors.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Eight Mid-South Conference women's tennis student-athletes earned 2014 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics officials announced on Friday.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved junior academic status.

MOBILE, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson women's tennis team's attempt to reach the program's first NAIA National Championship match fell short today with a 5-2 loss to second-seeded Georgia Gwinnett College at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The loss ends the Blue Raiders' season at 17-5 -- the first to an NAIA team this season.

MOBILE, Ala. – No. 3 Lindsey Wilson opened play today in the 2014 NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship with a 5-1 win over Milligan (Tenn.) at the Mobile Tennis Center.

With the win, the Blue Raiders advance to the quarterfinals against No. 6 Brenau (Ga.) -- who beat Oklahoma Baptist 5-1 in another second-round match today.
