LEWISTON, Idaho -- Lindsey Wilson baseball managed just four hits today in a 3-1 loss to Vanguard (Calif.) on the opening day of the 59th annual Avista-NAIA Baseball World Series at Harris Field.

No. 7 seed Lindsey Wilson falls into the consolation bracket and faces the loser of No. 3 seed Tabor (Kan.) and No. 6 seed Embry-Riddle (Fla.) at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday in an elimination game.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — (BOX SCORE) Campbellsville's season ended at the hands of Faulkner University on Thursday afternoon at Harrison Field. The Eagles defeated the Tigers, 5-3, in the championship round of the NAIA Baseball Montgomery Bracket to move on to the Avista NAIA World Series.

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- Lindsey Wilson baseball is heading to its first-ever AVISTA-NAIA World Series following a 4-1 win over top-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan today at the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round - Kingsport Bracket at Hunter Wright Stadium.

The second-seeded Blue Raiders (41-17) cap a perfect run through the Kingsport Bracket by upending the No. 3-ranked Bulldogs (45-12) for a second time in as many days.

KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- No. 2 seed Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) made the most of its opportunities and punched its ticket to the championship game of the NAIA Baseball National Championship Opening Round - Kingsport Bracket with a 10-1 victory over top-seeded Tennessee Wesleyan on Wednesday.

Lindsey Wilson (40-17) plays for the right to advance to the AVISTA-NAIA World Series on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. CT. The Blue Raiders face the team that emerges from the consolation bracket -- that features Tennessee Wesleyan, No. 3 seed Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.) and No. 4 seed LSU Alexandria (La.).
