COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Pikeville (Ky.) leads four Mid-South Conference teams in the latest NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Tuesday.
The Bears (20-1) jumped one spot to No. 2 following wins over Ohio Christian and Life (Ga.) last week. Pikeville -- who has won a conference-best 14 straight games -- received 241 voting points and two of the 10 first-place votes from the national raters.
COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Pikeville (Ky.) junior K.K Simmons is the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.
The weekly award is his second of the season. Simmons also earned the first weekly honor of the season on Nov. 17, 2014.

Pikeville (20-1, 7-1 in the MSC) sits atop the conference standings alone following its 107-85 win over visiting Life (Ga.) and the Shawnee State win. K.K. COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Georgetown (Ky.) handed top-ranked Campbellsville (Ky.) its first conference loss of the season on Thursday to highlight another eventful night around Mid-South Conference men's basketball.
No. 17-ranked Georgetown used a 15-6 run over the final three minutes to beat visiting Campbellsville 88-76 in the NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Game of the Week. The host Tigers built a double-digit, first-half lead and led by as many as 13 points in the second half before Campbellsville (19-2, 6-1 in the Mid-South) mounted its comeback.

The top ranking is the third straight for the Tigers (19-1) but it is the first time they have received all 10 first-place votes. Campbellsville received 250 voting points this week following wins over Fisk (Tenn.) and Life (Ga.) last week.
