NAIA Wrestling Coaches' Top-20 Poll  I  Individual Rankings

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Three Mid-South Conference teams are ranked and a fourth is just outside the poll in the NAIA Wrestling Coaches' Preseason Top-20 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.

Campbellsville (Ky.) leads the way for the Mid-South checking in at No. 6 followed closely by Lindsey Wilson (Ky) at No. 9. Mid-South newcomer Life (Ga.) is No. 14 to start the season. Cumberland (Tenn.) narrowly missed the top 20 and sits just outside tied as the 21st team in the balloting.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Cumberlands (Ky.) Courtney Freeman, Campbellsville's (Ky.) Trey Rhodes and Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Corey Ruff all earned Mid-South Conference wrestling honors, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

Freeman was voted by the Mid-South coaches as the 2013-14 MSC Wrestler of the Year. Freeman posted a 35-6 record during the season while earning NAIA All-American and first team All Mid-South Conference honors.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Eighteen Mid-South Conference wrestling student-athletes earned Academic All MSC honors, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.

NAIA Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll  I  NAIA Wrestling Individual Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- All four Mid-South Conference teams are ranked in the final NAIA Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Monday.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) finishes the postseason poll at No. 5 to lead the Mid-South schools. The Blue Raiders received 73.5 team points with five ranked grapplers.

TOPEKA, Kan. -- Three Mid-South Conference grapplers captured an individual national championship on Saturday at the 57th annual NAIA Wrestling National Championships at the Kansas Expocentre.

Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Jameel Bryant repeated as the 184-pound national champion while Cumberland's (Tenn.) Jake Williams and Lindsey Wilson's Joe Cozart each captured their first national title. Williams won at 149 pounds while Cozart takes home the 157-pound title.
