2013 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships

MARION, Ind. -- Cumberlands scored 16 points and Bethel scored two points at the 2013 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships at the Indiana Wesleyan Track.

The Patriots ended the three-day event in a tie for 18th place among the 62 teams to score in the national championships. Bethel tied for 56th overall.

2013 Men's Track & Field Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Six men's track & field student-athletes from Mid-South Conference institutions earned 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, NAIA officials announced on Friday.

Campbellsville and Shawnee State led Mid-South schools with two apiece while Georgetown and Lindsey Wilson each had one receive the honor. A total of 204 across the NAIA earned the honor.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson sophomore Takudzwa Mhlanga is the Mid-South Conference Track & Field Athlete of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

The honors are Mhlanga's first this season after he was named the MSC Track & Field Athlete of the Year at the Mid-South Championships on Saturday in Williamsburg, Ky.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- Cumberlands' ended a four-year drought today by claiming the Mid-South Conference championships today at James H. Taylor II Stadium on Cumberlands' campus.

The team championship is the third in the program's history. Cumberlands won the first two MSC championships in 2006 and 2007.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The Cumberlands men's track & field team and the Campbellsville and Cumberlands women's track & field teams lead after the first day of the Mid-South Conference Championships hosted at James H. Taylor II Stadium on Cumberlands' campus.

The Patriot men scored 78 points to lead the nine-team field followed by Lindsey Wilson's 30.5 points.
