Tachikara-NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and Georgetown (Ky.) are ranked in the final Tachikara-NAIA Coaches' Top-25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Sunday.

Lindsey Wilson slipped three spots this week to No. 12. The Blue Raiders (32-3) received 352 voting points from the 20 national raters.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- One set from defeat to a straight set win over No. 10 Lindsey Wilson College was the sweet taste of victory – literally.

The Georgetown College volleyball team took care of defense of the 2013 Mid-South Conference title with a 25-18, 25-18, 25-19. When the No. 17 Tigers (28-10) won and the trophy was handed over each player took a sweet lick of success.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. -- Georgetown College volleyball has learned to play very well with its back against the wall in the Mid-South Conference tournament. The No. 17 Tigers (27-10) found themselves in a 2-0 set hole Saturday morning to receiving votes St. Catharine College (29-11) in the semifinals.

Behind big performances from Ally Wilbourn, Caraline Maher, Caroline Ricks and Jenny Howell, GC roared back for 22-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 15-9 victory in Campbellsville.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The top-seeded Lindsey Wilson volleyball team swept (25-15, 25-15, 25-23) fifth-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) in the Mid-South Conference Tournament Semifinals on Saturday morning at Powell Athletic Center.

On the way to a berth in the MSC Tournament Championship, the Blue Raiders (32-2) hit .313 overall. In comparison, the Patriots (22-14) finished with a .152 hitting percentage.

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The curtain closed Friday night on an unusual season for Campbellsville Lady Tiger Volleyball. Six-seed Campbellsville battled No. 3 seed St. Catharine through four sets, but fell short, 3-1 (23-25, 25-23, 19-25, 16-25), in the Mid-South Conference Tournament quarterfinals in Powell Athletic Center.
