2015 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships Results

GULF SHORES, Ala. – Three Mid-South Conference teams scored at the 2015 NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field National Championships over the weekend at Mickey Miller Blackwell Stadium.

Cumberlands (Ky.) led the way with a tie for 16th after posting 20 points, including picking up an individual national title. Shawnee State (Ohio) scored three points to tie for 56th while Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) scored one point to tie for 64th.

2015 Men's Track & Field Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Sixteen Mid-South Conference men's track & field student-athletes earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, the national office announced on Friday.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Cumberlands' (Ky.) Wendall Williams is the Mid-South Conference Men's Track Athlete of the Week and Lindsey Wilson's Josh Kles is the MSC Men's Field Athlete of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

The weekly honor is the third for both Williams and Kles this season.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) captured the program's first-ever Mid-South Conference Men's Track & Field championship today at Blue Raider Stadium inside the Lindsey Wilson Sports Complex.

Lindsey Wilson scored 256 points over the two days to win the seven-team meet. Defending champion Cumberlands (Ky.) finished second with 214 points followed by Shawnee State (Ohio) with 131 points.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Five national qualifying times and a pair of meet records highlighted the first day of the 2015 Mid-South Conference Track & Field Championships at Blue Raider Stadium at the Lindsey Wilson Sports Complex.

Cumberlands (Ky.) men are first after six of 23 events with 68 points. Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is second with 53 followed by Shawnee State (Ohio) with 40. On the women's side, Lindsey Wilson leads with 65 points followed by Cumberlands and Campbellsville (Ky.) with 58 and 38 points respectively.
