NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Three teams from the Mid-South Conference are ranked in the top-25 and one more team is receiving votes in the NAIA Men's Tennis Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Tuesday.

Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) starts the 2016 season ranked third in the country after they received 289 total points. The Blue Raiders were selected to finish atop the MSC standings last week in the conference coaches' poll.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Mid-South Conference men's tennis coaches picked Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) as the team to beat in the regular season in 2016, according to the MSC Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll released on Thursday by conference officials.

Lindsey Wilson -- the defending regular season and tournament champions -- collected 35 voting points and five of the seven first-place votes from the conference coaches.

NAIA Men's Tennis All-Americans

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Three Mid-South Conference men's tennis student-athletes have earned National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American honors, NAIA officials announced on Monday.

Sixteen men earned first team with another 16 selected to the second team as voted on by the NAIA All-American committee.

Daktronics-NAIA Men's Tennis Scholar-Athletes

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Fifteen Mid-South Conference men's tennis student-athletes earned Daktronics-NAIA Tennis Scholar-Athlete honors, the national office announced on Friday.

In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.

MOBILE, Ala. – The Lindsey Wilson men's tennis team saw their 2015 season come to a heartbreaking end on Thursday as the Blue Raiders fell 5-4 to Auburn-Montgomery (Ala.) in the NAIA National Championship Quarterfinals at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The Blue Raiders (20-3) captured all three doubles points to start the match, but were unable to finish off the WarHawks (21-5) as AUM won five of the six singles matches to steal the match away from Lindsey Wilson.
