LEBANON, Tenn. – Freshman Pablo Borrero posted victories in singles and doubles but it was not enough, as No. 9 Cumberland's season came to an end with a 5-2 loss Thursday to second-ranked Auburn Montgomery in the quarterfinals of the NAIA Championships in Mobile, Ala.
The Bulldogs (19-5) reached the quarterfinals of the national tournament for the first time in program history after defeating the University of Mobile and seventh-ranked Bethel University earlier in the week.

MOBILE, Ala. -- Lindsey Wilson men's tennis fell to top-seeded Embry-Riddle (Fla.) 5-1 today in the NAIA National Tournament quarterfinals at the Mobile Tennis Center.
The Blue Raiders' season ends with a 17-4 record. No. 1-ranked Embry-Riddle advances on to tomorrow's national semifinals against No. 4 Westmont (Calif.).

LEBANON, Tenn. – Antonio Manuel Marcelo clinched the deciding point and freshmen Pablo Borrero and Sebastian Nava also provided singles victories in ninth-ranked Cumberland's 5-2 win over No. 7 Bethel University in the Round of 16 at the NAIA Championships in Mobile, Ala.
With the victory Cumberland (19-4) advances to the quarterfinals of the national tournament for the first time in program history. The Bulldogs will face second-ranked Auburn Montgomery on Thursday at 9 a.m. CU dropped a 7-2 decision to the Warhawks in Lebanon on March 22 this season.

MOBILE, Ala. -- Lindsey Wilson men's tennis advanced into the NAIA National Tournament quarterfinals with a 7-0 win over Concordia (Calif.) today at the Mobile Tennis Center.
The No. 8-seeded Blue Raiders advance to face top-seeded and No. 1-ranked Embry-Riddle (Fla.) at 9 a.m. CT on Thursday.
