JOLIET, Ill. – Sometimes the difference between placing in an event and winning the event is simply having faith. That's what Campbellsville University senior Tiosha Beasley learned Saturday as she dug deep and leaped farther than she had in over a year to repeat as long jump national champion at the National Christian College Athletic Association Outdoor Track & Field Championships.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Campbellsville freshman Keisha Chiles is the Mid-South Conference track and field athlete of the week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

Chiles earns her third track honor of the season and her first field honor of the season.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- Campbellsville women's track & field team captured the program's first Mid-South Conference championship on Saturday at James H. Taylor II Stadium on Cumberlands' campus.

The Tigers began the day tied with host Cumberlands, but in the end dominated the final day to take home the team title.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. -- The Cumberlands men's track & field team and the Campbellsville and Cumberlands women's track & field teams lead after the first day of the Mid-South Conference Championships hosted at James H. Taylor II Stadium on Cumberlands' campus.

The Patriot men scored 78 points to lead the nine-team field followed by Lindsey Wilson's 30.5 points.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Forty-four Mid-South Conference women's track & field student-athletes earned Academic All MSC honors, conference officials announced on Friday.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.
