Nathan Noble, a recent Georgetown College assist men's soccer coach, is another step closer to splitting the uprights of his dreams. The former Woodford County High School standout goalie and military veteran began to ‘kick' around the idea of playing football with one year of athletic eligibility left.

While coaching the Tigers he would occasionally find himself kicking field goals after practice with random football left on the practice surface. What he found was that he could still kick really well. On a consistent basis he was hitting 50-yarders and in his NCAA tryout for Wyoming, nailed a 70-yarder.

GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- Georgetown College men's soccer assistant Nathan Noble has been creating a buzz recently over his contemplation on trying to kick for a college football team. The 28-year-old Versailles native served his country after high school and enrolled at University of Kentucky in 2009, giving him one year of NCAA eligibility left.

NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top-25 Postseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Lindsey Wilson College and University of Rio Grande are No. 3 and No. 9 respectively in the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top-25 Postseason Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.

The pair spent most of the season atop the national poll, but each slipped after failing to reach the NAIA National Tournament finals.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Eight Mid-South Conference men's soccer student-athletes were named National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics All-American, NAIA officials announced on Monday.

One addition player was picked honorable mention all-American.
