COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Cumberlands' (Ky.) Cam Philpot and Campbellsville's (Ky.) Gonzalo Sapena are the Mid-South Conference Men's Soccer Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

The weekly honor is the first handed out by the conference this season.

NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) opens the 2015 season ranked in the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Preseason Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Tuesday.

The Blue Raiders received 351 voting points from the national raters to sit at No. 9 in the preseason poll. Lindsey Wilson -- the MSC's preseason favorite -- captured the Mid-South's regular season and tournament titles a season ago en route to the national tournament's second round.

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is the favorite to repeat as Mid-South Conference men's soccer regular season champions according to the coaches' preseason poll, conference officials announced on Wednesday.

The Blue Raiders received 49 voting points, including seven of the eight first-place votes, from the conference coaches. Lindsey Wilson has won each of the last two regular season titles and 12 of 15 titles since joining the conference in 2000.

     One of the career goals of Tim Wolz was to become the first coach in the history of the Mid-South Conference to win Coach of the Year in both men's and women's soccer. He reached that milestone this season when he received the honor for the men's St. Catharine College program to go along with the distinction for women's soccer he received at Cumberland College in 2002.

NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches Postseason Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) is the lone Mid-South Conference team ranked in the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches Postseason Top 25 Poll, NAIA officials announced on Wednesday.

Lindsey Wilson (14-3-3) finished 2014 ranked No. 12 after reaching the NAIA National Tournament's second round -- falling to eventual tournament runner-up Texas at Brownsville.
