LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Cumberlands junior Liz Stephens is the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

Stephens earns her first weekly award of the season after winning the Mid-South Conference Championships' individual title last week at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.

BARDSTOWN, Ky. -- Cumberlands captured its second straight Mid-South Conference Women's Golf Championships today at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.

The Patriots -- who entered the day leading by nine strokes -- shot a team-total 613 (305-308) to better second-place Lindsey Wilson by seven shots. The Blue Raiders ended the two-day tournament with a 620 (314-306).

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Cumberlands sophomore Cristina Jimenez is the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday.

The weekly award is the first in Jimenez's career.

BARDSTOWN, Ky. -- All five Cumberlands golfers shot in the 70s today to help the Patriots lead at the midway point of the Mid-South Conference Championships at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood.

Cumberlands shot a team-total of 305 to lead second-place Lindsey Wilson (314) by nine shots.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Twenty-one Mid-South Conference women's golf student-athletes earned Academic All MSC honors, conference officials announced on Sunday.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.25 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least sophomore academic status.
