Kody Kasey's focus these days is to play the sport he loves, for the institution he loves, with the hopes of touching and inspiring even just one person. It is easy to see he has far surpassed all three of these goals as this past fall he returned to Georgetown College football gridiron, returning kickoffs and playing defensive back with a prosthetic leg.

"If I can touch one person or help one individual, that means more to me than anything," Kasey said. "I love football and never doubted from this time a year ago that I would be back on the field, but with the main focus of giving glory to God. I am here because of Him."

His dedication and determination has not gone unnoticed and this past weekend the Ohio native was honored with a rousing standing ovation at Touchdown Club of Columbus' annual football awards banquet as he was presented the 2016 President's Award.

BLUEFIELD, Va. – Dewey Lusk has been named head football coach at Bluefield College. Lusk becomes the 10th head coach in school history and the third since the program was reinstituted in 2012. Lusk comes to BC from Webber International University (Babson Park, Fla.) where he served as offensive coordinator in the 2016 season.

From 2011-15 Lusk was head coach at UVa-Wise where he helped guide the Highland Cavaliers in the transition from an NAIA program to an NCAA Division II school. He was associate head coach and offensive coordinator at UVa-Wise from 2005-10. During his stint as the offensive coordinator, Lusk helped UVa-Wise become one of the most vaunted offensive juggernauts in NAIA football.  In 2008, the Cavalier offense finished fourth in the NAIA in scoring offense (41.4 ppg) while finishing second in the nation in pass efficiency (174.9) and total offense (477.5 yds./gm).
