NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Postseason Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Mid-South Conference has four teams represented in the top 25 of the NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Postseason Top 25 Poll, the national office announced on Wednesday.

Life (Ga.) and Pikeville (Ky.) are ranked in the top 10, while Georgetown (Ky.) and Cumberlands (Ky.) are within the top 25.

NAIA Men's Basketball All-America Teams

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Life's (Ga.) Dalarian Williams highlighted the NAIA Men's Basketball All-America Teams after being named the 2016-17 NAIA Division I Men's Basketball Player of the Year, the national office announced on Thursday.

All selections are made by the All-America Committee. There are 10 members on each of the first, second and third All-America teams.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Life (Ga.) ended its 2016-17 campaign with a loss to Texas Wesleyan, 86-76, in the Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship game on Tuesday night at the Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Mo.

Following the game, Dalarian Williams was named the NAIA National Player of the Year. This marks the third-straight season the Mid-South Conference Player of the Year has went on to be named the NAIA National Player of the Year.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Life (Ga.) punched its ticket to the national championship game after it handed LSU Alexandria (La.) its first loss of the season, 65-63, on Monday night in the semifinals of the Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championship.

The Running Eagles (26-10) had four players reach double figures led by Mike Miller with a game-high 17 points. Dalarian Williams chipped in with 14 points, while Jonathan Beausejour and Zach Landis finished the game with 13 and 12 points, respectively.

Daktronics-NAIA Men's Basketball Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Five Mid-South Conference men's basketball student-athletes earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, the national office announced on Monday.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least junior academic status.
