NAIA Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Postseason Poll | NAIA Wrestling Coaches' Postseason Individual Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – In the postseason version of the NAIA Wrestling Coaches' Top 20 Poll, six teams from the Mid-South Conference were ranked in the poll, the national office announced on Friday.

The conference also has three teams mentioned in the receiving votes section of the national poll.

NAIA Wrestling All-Americans

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Following the NAIA Wrestling National Championships in Topeka, Kansas this past weekend, the national office announced 20 Mid-South Conference wrestlers received NAIA All-American honors on Tuesday afternoon.

Campbellsville (Ky.) led all Mid-South teams with five All-Americans – which were second-most in the country – while Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) had four grapplers earn the national recognition. Cumberland (Tenn.), Cumberlands (Ky.) and Life (Ga.) each had three, followed by Brewton-Parker (Ga.) with two.

TOPEKA, Kan. – Lindsey Wilson College Wrestling head coach Corey Ruff has been named the 2017 NAIA Wrestling National Coach of the Year, officials from the national office announced on Saturday following the conclusion of the NAIA National Championships.

Ruff led to the Blue Raiders to a national runner-up finish at the 2017 NAIA National Championships, the highest team placement in program history. Lindsey Wilson racked up 74.5 total team points, second to only Grand View (Iowa), who captured the program's sixth-consecutive team national title in 2017 with 234.5 points.

Results

TOPEKA, Kan. -- Five Mid-South Conference wrestling teams finished in the top-11 at the 2017 NAIA Wrestling Championship which concluded on Saturday at the Kansas Expocentre.

All nine conference teams that had at least one entry in the national championship scored during the two-day event.

NAIA Wrestling National Championship Results

TOPEKA, Kan. – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and Campbellsville (Ky) represent the Mid-South Conference inside the top five of the NAIA Wrestling Championship team standings, following the first day of action from Topeka, Kan.

The Blue Raiders are second overall with 50.5 points and Campbellsville ranks fourth in the team standings with 46.5 points. Cumberlands (Ky.) is just outside the top five in sixth with 41.5 points, while Cumberland (Tenn.) is tied with Midland (Neb.) at 35 points in eighth overall.
