NAIA WOMEN'S TENNIS PRE-SEASON RATING PRESS RELEASE February 2, 2007
MID-SOUTH WOMEN'S TENNIS POLL University of the Cumberlands was rated third, Campbellsville University and Lambuth University tied for the fourth position and Pikeville College is at number six. Most member schools will begin play in late February or early March, with the majority of the conference matches being played in mid-March through mid-April. The conference tournament is scheduled for April 20-21 at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center on the Belknap campus of the University of Louisville. The following are the placing positions, total points and first-place votes. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team. 1. Lindsey Wilson College -- 25 points -- (5 first-place votes) 2. Georgetown College -- 19 points -- (1 first-place vote) 3. U. of the Cumberlands -- 15 points 4. Campbellsville University -- 13 points Lambuth University -- 13 points 6.
