CAMPBELLSVILLE'S ECKENFELS NAMED NAIA NATIONAL VOLLEYBALL LIBERO OF THE WEEK
Amy Eckenfels of Campbellsville Univerisity was named the the NAIA's National Libero of
the Week. Eckenfels, a 5-6 senior from Louisville, Kentucky (Mercy Academy), helped Campbellsville
post a 2-0 record on the week and move CU to 15-2 overall. She became only the second player in NAIA history to
record over 3,000 career digs.

GEORGETOWN FAVORITE FOR 2006 MSC VOLLEYBALL
Georgetown College has been tabbed as the pick by the coaches of the Mid-South Conference to win the 2006 Season
Volleyball Championship. The Tigers (40-10 in 2005), defending regular season and conference tournament
champions, received 25 points and 5 first-place votes. Georgetown made last season's NAIA National Tournament.
Campbellsville University (28-12), finished second in the polling with 21 points and 1 first-place vote. The University
of the Cumberlands (19-19) is in third with 17 points. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
The Mid-South Conference Tournament is scheduled for November 10 & 11 at the Mid-America Sports
Center in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. The Region XI tournament is scheduled for November 18 and is to be played
at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee. The National NAIA Tournament will be in Columbia, Missouri,
November 29 - December 2.

Amy Eckenfels of Campbellsville Univerisity was named the the NAIA's National Libero of
the Week. Eckenfels, a 5-6 junior from Louisville, Kentucky (Mercy Academy), helped Campbellsville
post a 4-1 record on the week. In 18 games, she averaged 10.8 digs and had four aces. Campbellsville
recorded wins against Kentucky Wesleyan College (3-0), University of St. Mary (Kan.) (3-0), St. Ambrose
University (Iowa) (3-0) and Spring Arbor University (Mich.) (3-2). The teams’ only defeat came at the
hands of William Penn University (Iowa) (1-3). For her play, Eckenfels was selected to the All-Tournament
Team of the St. Ambrose Invitational.

Georgetown College has been tabbed as the pick by the coaches of the Mid-South Conference to win the 2005 Season
Volleyball Championship. The Tigers (41-7 in 2004), defending regular season and conference tournament
champions, received 25 points and 5 first-place votes. In last season's NAIA National Tournament, Georgetown
won their pool and advanced to the quarterfinal round.
Campbellsville University (29-11), finished second in the balloting with 19 points and 1 first-place vote.
Lindsey Wilson (25-14) got third with 16 points. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team.
Three Mid-South schools will have new coaches this season: Randy LeBleu (Campbellsville), Amanda Walton (Cumberlands)
and Susan Clements (Georgetown).
The Mid-South Conference Tournament is scheduled for November 11 & 12, with the NAIA Region XI Tournament being contested the following
week on November 18 & 19. Both tournaments will be played at the Mid-America Sports Center in Jeffersontown, Kentucky.
The National NAIA Tournament will once again be in San Diego, California, November 30 - December 3.

Volleyball Championship. The Tigers (40-5 in 2003), who are the defending regular season and conference tournament
champions, received 25 points and 5 first-place votes.Campbellsville University (29-14 in 2003), who was last
season's runner-up in both the regular season and conference tournament, finished second in the balloting with 21
points and 1 first-place vote. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team. The Mid-South Conference
Championship is scheduled for November 12 & 13, with the NAIA Region XI Tournament being contested the following
week on November 19 & 20. Both tournaments will be played at the Mid-America Sports Center in Jeffersontown, Kentucky.
