Offensive Player of the Week
Phoenix Thompson -- WR -- SR -- Belhaven College

Phoenix caught 3 touchdown passes for the Blazers on Saturday afternoon at
Campbellsville, including catching the game-winning score of 62 yards with only
21 seconds remaining. His other 2 touchdown receptions were of 20 and 2 yards.
On the day, Phoenix had 8 pass receptions for a total of 172 yards.


Defensive Player of the Week
Brandon Webb -- LB -- SR -- Union College

Brandon set a new Union school record by recording 4 ½ sacks in the game while
hosting # 8 Georgetown on Saturday in Barbourville. The old record was 4 sacks, set
21 years ago. In addition, Brandon had 11 total tackles for the Bulldogs (6 solo & 5
assisted) with 5 ½ tackles for a loss of 19 yards. He also had 1 pass breakup and
leads the team with 7 sacks and 20 tackles for loss on the season.


Special Teams Player of the Week
Lukas Gonzalez -- K/P -- SO -- Shorter College

Lukas made all 3 of his field goal attempts on Thursday night against Cumberland
(TN.), connecting from distances of 38, 27 and 29 yards for the Hawks. He was also
3 for 3 on his PAT's, scoring 12 points on the evening. Lukas also punted 3 times
for 105 yards (35.0 yard average) with his longest going for 42 yards. This is the
second Special Teams award for Lukas this season.
