Offensive Player of the Week
Randy Hippeard -- QB -- FR -- Virginia-Wise

In only his second collegiate game, Randy threw for 381 yards with
15 of 20 completions and no interceptions. He passed for three touchdowns of
26, 69, and 17 yards against Division II member Chowan.

Defensive Player of the Week
Chuck Jones-- DB -- SR -- Cumberland University (TN.)

Chuck made a total of 13 tackles (12 of which were solo) at Division I-AA
Austin Peay on Saturday. He also made an interception against the Governors.

Special Teams Player of the Week
Ryan Carter -- WR -- SR -- Cumberland University (TN.)

Ryan returned 2 kickoff for 110 yards on Saturday at Division I-AA Austin Peay, running
back one of those kicks for a 96-yard touchdown. The return may be the longest in CU
football history. This is Ryan's second week in a row as the ST player of the week.
