Defensive Player of the Week
Michael Shepperd--LB--Pikeville College
Made 14 tackles (10 solo, 4 assists), 6 tackles for loss of 46 yards, school record tying 5 sacks.
Forced 2 fumbles, picked up another fumble and ran 45 yards for TD.
Also was named National NAIA Player of the Week

Special Teams Co-Players of the Week
Brent Dalton--FB--Cumberland University
James McClain--WR--Union College
    Dalton blocked 2 punts for CU, both resulting in TD's. McClain returned 5 kickoffs
for 170 yards, including a long run of 89 yards and a TD.
