2007 MID-SOUTH BASEBALL POLL Cumberlands is the defending regular season titlist, with Campbellsville being the champions of last season's conference tournament. Georgetown College is projected as the third-place team, followed by Lindsey Wilson College at the # 4 spot, conference newcomer West Virginia Tech in the # 5 position and Pikeville College placing at # 6. The 2007 NAIA Pre-Season Baseball Top 25 poll has Cumberlands at # 15 and Campbellsville receiving votes. Member schools will begin play in early February, with the 20-game conference schedule beginning the weekend of March 16-17. The conference tournament is scheduled for April 27-29, to be hosted by Georgetown College in Georgetown, Kentucky. The following are the placing positions, total points and first-place votes. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own team. FOR 2006 MID-SOUTH BASEBALL Campbellsville is the defending regular season title and tournament champion in the MSC. Lindsey Wilson is projected as the third-place team, followed by a tie between Georgetown and Lambuth for the # 4 position, with Pikeville at # 6. The 2006 NAIA Pre-Season Baseball poll has Campbellsville at # 15 and Cumberlands receiving votes. Member schools begin play in early February with conference play beginning March 17. The conference tournament is scheduled for April 28 - 30 at Georgetown, Kentucky. The following are the placing positions, total points and first-place votes.
