Championship Game Recap:

May 5 -- Campbellsville, Ky. -- Campbellsville University won the 2006 MSC Baseball Tournament on Friday afternoon, winning 11-7 over the University of the Cumberlands.

Cumberlands had a lead of  7-4 in the 8th inning when Campbellsville's Temple MacDonald hit a 3-run homer to tie the game at 7. In the 9th inning, the Tigers loaded the bases and then MacDonald provided the heroics by hitting a grand-slam home run to give CU an 11-7 lead.

Donnie Johnson came on to pitch the bottom of the 9th, and induced the Patriots to hit into a game-ending double play.

Both Campbellsville and Cumberlands will advance to the NAIA Region XI Tournament which will be played May 10 - 13 at Cumberland University in Lebanon, Tennessee.
