BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Sixth-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) captured the program's first Mid-South Conference Softball Tournament Championship after beating top-seeded Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), 2-1, in the championship game on Sunday afternoon at Michael O. Buchanon Park.

With the victory, the Patriots earned the conference's automatic bid into the NAIA Softball National Championship Opening Round, which beings May 15 at 10 host sites across the NAIA.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. - Cassie Kooker hit a walk off home run to propel No. 1-seeded Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) to the Mid-South Conference Championship Game with a 3-2 win over No. 3-seeded Georgetown (Ky.) on Sunday afternoon at Michael O. Buchanon Park.

The Blue Raiders face No. 6-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.) in the tournament final. Lindsey Wilson needs to win twice, while the Patriots need just one win to capture the tournament title.

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Shawnee State (Ohio) won the first game of its opening round best-of-three series, while Georgetown (Ky.) and Pikeville (Ky.) punched their tickets to the MSC Baseball Championship Final Site with wins on Saturday.

Seventh-seeded Shawnee State started its postseason run with a 6-3 win over second-seeded Cumberlands (Ky.), 6-3. No. 4-seeded Georgetown swept its series at home over No. 5-seeded Cumberland (Tenn.) after winning the second game of the series, 3-1.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) won the Mid-South Conference Women's Track & Field Championship from the second-straight season and third time in four years, after the event concluded on Saturday afternoon at James H. Taylor II Stadium in Williamsburg, Ky.

The Blue Raiders finished the three-day event with 230 points, while second-place Campbellsville (Ky.) compiled 194 points during the championship. Cumberlands capped off the top three in the team standings with 135 points.

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) won its third-straight Mid-South Conference Men's Outdoor Track & Field Championship following the final day of the event on Saturday at James H. Taylor II Stadium in Williamsburg, Ky.

The Blue Raiders won the conference championship with 211.5 points, just 11.5 points ahead of second-place Campbellsville (Ky.) with 200 points. Cumberlands (Ky.) rounded out the top three with 175.5 points.
