KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Campbellsville University junior forward Whitney Ballinger was selected as the NAIA Co-Player of the Year by the NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Association All-American committee. The All-American teams were released tonight by the NAIA.

Ballinger -- who shared the award with Vanguard (Calif.) University's Bridgette Reyes -- averaged 21.5 points and 11.6 rebounds per game while leading the Lady Tigers to the Mid-South Conference regular season title and a berth into the national tournament's quarterfinals.

Last week, Ballinger was named the State Farm/WBCA Player of the Year and earlier this month Mid-South Conference Player of the Year.
