KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Campbellsville University senior forward Nestor Colmenares headlines six men's basketball student athletes to earn NAIA All-American honors, released tonight by the NAIA. Colmenares earned first-team All-American honors after averaging 15.6 points and 9.9 rebounds per game while leading his Tigers to the Mid-South Conference regular season title. The honor comes on the heels of Colmenares earning the MSC Men's Basketball Player of the Year honor. Georgetown College senior Hollis Giles earned second-team All-American honors while Pikeville College senior guard Jonathan Clark earned third-team All-American. A trio of MSC student-athletes earned honorable mention All-American honors for their play during the season. Campbellsville's T.J. Bishop, Georgetown's Vic Moses and University of the Cumberlands' Chad Byron were named honorable mention. Oklahoma Baptist University's Nate Brumfield was selected as the NAIA Player of the Year. The three teams and honorable mention selections are chosen by a panel from the NAIA Men's Basketball Coaches' Association.
