LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College's Ally Goniea and Morgan Paschall are the Mid-South Conference Softball Players of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

The conference's weekly award is the first of the season for both Goniea and Paschall and the first of their careers.

Goniea hit .412 (7-for-17) at the plate with a home run and eight runs batted in to earn MSC Player of the Week honors.

The Falcon, Col., junior catcher, added three doubles and recorded a .765 slugging percentage while helping the Blue Raiders to six wins last week.

Paschall won four times last week while not allowing a run to earn MSC Pitcher of the Week honors.

The Nolensville, Tenn., native, amassed 23 strikeouts in 21 innings of work, while allowing 15 hits and just four walks on the week.

Lindsey Wilson extended its winning streak to seven straight games. The Blue Raiders are 13-4 overall this season.
