LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College senior Jessica Weyreuter is the Mid-South Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Weyreuter earns the first weekly conference award of the season after winning her only singles match of the week.

The Montecarlo, Argentina, native, won in straight sets at the No. 2 singles in her match with Shorter (Ga.) College's Michaela Tingets.

Weyreuter won 6-1, 6-0 in her first singles match of the season. Her point was the only one of the match for the No. 5-ranked Blue Raiders in a 5-1 loss to No. 18-ranked Shorter.

In doubles, Weyreuter teamed with Salca Milanovic in an 8-3 loss to Tingets and Danielle Monteith at No. 1 doubles.
