FRANKFORT, Ky. -- The Mid-South Conference handed out its Bill Sergent Sports Information Director of the Year award at halftime of the MSC Women's Basketball Tournament on Saturday.

Georgetown College's Resa Browning and Lindsey Wilson College's Chris Wells shared the award as voted on by their peers.

The Bill Sergent Award is named for former Cumberland College SID Bill Sergent, who served for 24 years in the position.

Browning, in her final year at Georgetown College, has been responsible for several Mid-South Conference tournaments and playoff events during her tenure as Georgetown's SID.

Wells is a four-time winner of the award. In addition to his duties at Lindsey Wilson College, he also serves the league as conference sports information director.
