LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College's Eric McPherson is the Mid-South Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.
The award is McPherson's second this season and third of his career.
In the Blue Raiders' only game this week, the senior guard scored 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in a 66-61 win at West Virginia University Tech.
Lindsey Wilson's game with Georgetown College on Saturday was postponed due to heavy snow and was rescheduled for Monday night.
McPherson hit three of five (60 percent) three-pointers and six of eight (75 percent) free throws to help the Blue Raiders win their second straight conference game.
The Cleveland native recorded his fifth double-double of the season while adding an assist, a block and a steal in the win.
Lindsey Wilson improved to 12-9 on the season and 3-2 in conference play.
