LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of the Cumberlands senior Dustin Center is the Mid-South Conference Wrestler of the Week, the conference announced on Tuesday.
The weekly conference award is the second straight this season for Center.
Center captured his second consecutive 157 pound open championship by winning the Simonson Open hosted by Ashland (Ohio) University.
The Cincinnati native dominated his competition with a pair of falls and a pair of major decisions en route to the title. Center capped off is perfect weekend with a fall at 2:54 over Ashland's Marc Hoff in the championship match.
