COLUMBIA, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College is the top-seed and University of Rio Grande is the third seed in the 2009 NAIA Men's Soccer National Championship. The 31-team national tournament begins on Saturday, Nov. 21, at on-campus sites.

The Blue Raiders host Lee (Tenn.) University, while Rio Grande hosts Lindenwood (Mo.) University in two of the 15 opening-round games. Fresno Pacific (Calif.) University receives a bye into the second round as the tournament's host.

Lindsey Wilson (15-2-1) received one of the 24 automatic bids given to the conference, independent and unaffiliated champions. The Blue Raiders captured the Mid-South Conference Tournament title last week.

The national tournament appearance is the Blue Raiders 17th, including 16 straight.

Rio Grande (15-3-2) receives one of the six at-large bids. The tournament bid is the RedStorm's ninth straight appearance.

Lindsey Wilson enters the tournament in search of its eighth national title, while the RedStorm goes for their second.
