GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- Eight Lindsey Wilson College women's soccer players, including the MSC Women's Soccer Player of the Year Yolanda Hamilton, are among the 14-woman all-conference team announced today by the conference.

Hamilton led the Blue Raiders to a 7-0 league mark and the regular season championship. The St. Thomas, Jamaica, senior forward, scored 17 goals and assisted on 12 others to lead the MSC in each category. Her 46 points is 13th in the NAIA.

Lindsey Wilson's Carrie Revlett is the all-conference goalkeeper after not allowing a goal in seven conference matches this season.

The all-conference defenders consist of Campbellsville University's Brittany Halcomb, University of the Cumberlands' Heather Lopez, Georgetown College's Samantha Owens and Lindsey Wilson's Rebecca Bjorkvall and Heini Metsola.

Midfielders voted as all-conference include Campbellsville's Cassie Yannelli and Lindsey Wilson's Caitlin Burke, Mia Persson and Ida Gregersen.

The all-conference forwards include Hamilton and her Lindsey Wilson teammate Saeda Sueki, Campbellsville's Laura Swencki and Cumberlands' Leslie Allred.

The all-conference team is selected by a vote from the MSC coaches. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Persson was named the MSC Women's Soccer Freshman of the Year after scoring 15 goals and 34 points this season. Both rank third in the MSC.

Lindsey Wilson coach Drew Burwash was named MSC Coach of the Year as voted on by his peers.

Campbellsville's Laura Shrader and Georgetown's Caitlin Williams were named the MSC Women's Soccer Champions of Character recipients. The pair earned the award -- as voted on by the conference athletics director -- for their civic and servant leadership within the campus and community.

Thirty-five women's soccer student-athletes were recognized as Academic All Mid-South Conference. The distinction is reserved for student-athletes with a sophomore or higher class standing and a 3.25 and above grade point average on a 4.0 scale.
