LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of the Cumberlands' Josh Laughlin and Darcy Mascotti are the Mid-South Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

The weekly conference award is the fourth this season for Laughlin, while Mascotti has earned the honor twice this season.

Laughlin finished fourth at the Southeastern Kentucky Cross Country Classic last Saturday in Louisville to earn the MSC Men's Runner of the Week. The Bellbrook, Ohio, senior, finished the 8,000 meter course with a time of 25 minutes and 37 seconds.

Laughlin helped the Patriots to an eighth place finish in the 22-team, 216-man field.

Mascotti finished 21st in the 181-woman field to earn MSC Women's Runner of the Week. The Bellbrook freshman ran the 5,000 meter course in 19:44.

Mascotti led the Patriots to a seventh place finish in the 22-team field.
