LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- University of the Cumberlands' Josh Laughlin and Georgetown College's Britney Chesser are the Mid-South Conference Cross Country Runners of the Week, the conference announced on Monday.

Chesser continues to dominate the weekly award with her fourth straight honor this season, while Laughlin earns his third of the season.

Laughlin, a senior from Bellbrook, Ohio, finished fifth in the 331-man Greater Louisville Classic to earn the conference men's honor. He finished the 8,000 meter course in a time 25 minutes and 58 seconds.

Laughlin helped the Patriots to a 13th place finish in the 33-team event.

Chesser finished 10th at the Greater Louisville Classic to earn the women's runner of the week award. The Louisville native finished the 5,000 meter course in a time of 19:09 to earn a top-10 finish in the 298-woman field.

Chesser helped the Tigers to a 23rd place finish in the 35-team field.
