RAPID CITY, S.D. -- The Lindsey Wilson College women's golf team moved up one spot to 11th following today's second round of the NAIA National Championships at Meadowbrook Golf Course.

Wednesday's round featured blustery winds -- wind gusts exceeded 50 mph at times during the second round -- that resulted in every team but one shooting higher scores than Tuesday's opening round.

Lindsey Wilson shot a team total of 336 on Wednesday and currently sits 11th with a two-day total of 661 (325-336).

Four-time defending champion Oklahoma City University leads at the midway point with a 613 (302-311). University of British Columbia is second with a 630 (302-328).

Junior Krista Burton continues to lead the Blue Raiders following her second round 81. Burton sits tied for 14th with a two round total of 158 (77-81).

Freshman Paola Gonzalez is tied for 35th with a 163 (81-82) and junior Jessica Smith is tied for 77th with a 169 (83-86). Sophomore Chelsey Key (171) is tied for 86th and junior Cheslee Stone (179) is tied for 115th entering Thursday's third round.

Lindsey Wilson begins its third round at 2:30 p.m. CT.
