MOBILE, Ala. -- The Lindsey Wilson College men's tennis team's season ended today with a 5-0 loss to California Baptist University in the NAIA National Championships' second round at the Mobile Tennis Center. Fourth-seeded California Baptist dominated from the beginning with wins in all three doubles matches. Lindsey Wilson junior Justin Martin and sophomore Falk Debeenhower put up the best fight in the No. 3 doubles falling 9-7 to CBU's Lucas Pereira and Gabor Toth. In singles action, Martin and sophomore Andre Dos Santos lost in straight sets at the No. 6 and No. 3 singles as California Baptist moved into the national quarterfinals. Lindsey Wilson ends its season with an 11-5 overall record. Doubles: |
