COLUMBIA, Ky.- Regional winners in both singles and doubles will compete this week at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association Oracle Cup at the Rome Tennis Center in Rome, Georgia.

Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Denis Porcic is the third seed in Men's Singles and will face off against San Diego Christian's (Calif.) Aliaksandr Meliuk at 11 a.m. ET on Thursday.

Porcic won the Southeast Regional  6-3, 6-1 over teammate Ivan Solans Diaz to qualify and is one of four seeded players in the tournament.

On the Doubles side, Campbellsville's (Ky.) team of Chrys Castro and Alejandro Reyes received the third seed in the eight-team field.

Seven regional winners and an at-large doubles team make up the championship field.

Castro and Reyes qualified by winning the Southeast regional, 8-6 over Denis Porcic and Ivan Solans Diaz of Lindsey Wilson. The pair will face Luke Whalen and John Joens of Westmont (Calif.) at 3:00 p.m. ET on Thursday.

According to the ITA website, the ITA Oracle Cup has a history dating back to 1986, and it is the only singles and doubles national championship event for the Division II and NAIA levels. This year, more than 8,000 players took part in a total of 60 regional tournaments to gain entry into the ITA Oracle Cup field.

The tournament continues through Sunday.
