NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and Cumberland (Tenn.) are ranked in the NAIA Women's Soccer Coaches' poll, the national office announced on Tuesday.

No Mid-South teams are mentioned in the receiving votes section.

Cumberland's collected 220 voting spots to earn the No.17 ranking this week. The Phoenix jumped up eight spots after a 2-0 week that included a 3-1 win over previous No. 12 Lindsey Wilson.

Cumberland is 7-3-1 overall and has won their last two matchups against nationally ranked opponents.

Lindsey Wilson falls 10 spots to No. 22. The Blue Raiders are 4-4-1 overall and earned 171 voting points to extend their Top-25 streak with 201-consecutive mentions dating back to the start of the 1999 season. 

Martin Methodist (Tenn.) earns the No. 1 ranking for the fourth consecutive week. They received 498 total voting points and all 18 first-place votes.

The top five remain unchanged as Spring Arbor (Mich.) and the University of Northwestern Ohio sit behind the Redhawks with 482 and 466 voting points respectively.

William Carey (Miss.) received 448 voting points to remain No. 4 and Columbia (Mo.) rounds out the top five with 429 voting points.

The national poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing either a conference or the independents.

The next regular season poll is scheduled to be released on Oct. 17.
