NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) Georgetown (Ky.), and Campbellsville (Ky.) are ranked in the NAIA Volleyball Coaches' Top 25, the national office announced on Tuesday.

No Mid-South teams were mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll.

Lindsey Wilson moved up to No. 2 this week and received 573 voting points and four first-place votes. Lindsey Wilson is 17-0 on the season and 7-0 in the MSC.

Lindsey Wilson holds the longest active streak in the Top 25 with 52 total appearances. The last 24 appearances have been in the top five.

Georgetown moved up one spot to No. 17. The Lady Tigers received 277 voting points and are 5-1 in conference play and 10-1 overall.

Georgetown and Lindsey Wilson face off tonight in Columbia, Kentucky. The Blue Raiders won the first matchup of the season, 3-0.

Campbellsville moved into the top 25 and is ranked No. 24. The Tigers garnered 105 voting points and are 14-3 overall. All of the Lady Tigers losses this season have come against ranked opponents.

Viterbo (Wis.) captured the No. 1 slot for the first time this season and received 17 first-place votes. The V-Hawks are one of two teams that remain undefeated in the top 25 poll.

Northwestern (Iowa) earned 548 voting points to jump up eight spots into the No. 3 ranking. Previous number one Hastings (Neb.) falls to No.4 in the rankings.

Park (Mo.) tallied 515 voting points and rounds out the top 5.

The national poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing either a conference or the independents.

The next regular season poll is scheduled to be released on Oct. 17.
