NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Reinhardt (Ga.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), Georgetown (Ky.) and Southeastern (Fla.), are ranked inside the Football Coaches' top 25, the national office announced on Monday.

Cumberland (Tenn.), Cumberlands (Ky.) and Campbellsville (Ky.) are in the receiving votes section of the poll.

Reinhardt remains No. 3 in the national poll with 311 voting points following their 62-28 victory over Point (Ga.). The Eagles have the first ranked rushing offense in the NAIA (402.5yds/gm).

Reinhardt hosts Cumberlands next weekend.

Lindsey Wilson holds the number six spot in the polls. The Blue Raiders earned 274 total voting points after a 56-7 win over Cincinnati Christian (Ohio).

The Blue Raiders are idle this week.

Georgetown jumped into the top 10 for the first time this season. The Tigers earned 214 voting points -- which slots them tenth -- after a 38-28 victory over previous No. 22 Cumberland.

For the third time this season, three Mid-South teams are ranked inside the top 10.

Southeastern collected 156 voting points and moves up one spot to No. 15. Southeastern returns from a bye to host Warner.

Cumberland falls into the receiving votes category after a loss to No. 10 Georgetown. The Phoenix picked up 13 voting points and are one spot outside the top 25.

Cumberlands received eight voting points to remain outside the top 25. The Patriots are 4-1 this season and 1-0 in divisional play.

Campbellsville garnered five voting points to be mentioned in the poll for the first time this season. The Tigers are 3-0 and host Kentucky Christian this week.

Saint Francis (Ind.) holds down the No. 1 ranking, garnering all 15 first-place votes and 340 total points. Baker (Kan.) remains number No. 2 in the poll with 327 total points.

Morningside (Iowa) is fourth in the national poll with 302 points. Montana Tech rounds out the top five with 289 points.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and Independents.

The next regular season poll is scheduled to be released on Monday, Oct.9.
