NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Shawnee State (Ohio) is the only team from the Mid-South Conference ranked in the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' poll, the national office announced on Wednesday.

Campbellsville (Ky.) is outside of the top 25, but mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll. 

Shawnee State slipped eight spots to No. 17 in the polls as they picked up 265 total voting points. The Bears competed in the Iona Meet of Champions and the Cedarville University Friendship CC Invitational. The Bears registered second-place and eighth-place finishes in the meets. 

Campbellsville is mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll. The Tigers posted a second-place team finish at the Berea College Invitational.

Southern Oregon holds on to the No. 1 spot in the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll for the fourth time in a row. The Raiders tallied 17 first-place votes and 558 voting points.

St. Francis (Ill.) and British Columbia remain in the No. 2 and No. 3 spots, receiving 539 and 582 voting points respectively. 

The national poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing either a conference or the independents.

The next poll is scheduled to be released on Oct. 11.
