GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Mid-South Conference announced its baseball all-conference team in conjunction with the MSC Tournament opening on Saturday at Georgetown College.

Campbellsville University junior third baseman Chris Curley is the MSC Baseball Player of the Year and Campbellsville senior Marc Wilson is the MSC Pitcher of the Year.

Curley and Wilson highlight the 18-man all-conference team as voted on by the conference coaches. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.

Curley enters postseason play in the MSC's top-10 in seven different offensive categories, including first with 51 runs, second with 55 RBIs and third in home runs (14) and slugging percentage (.831).

Wilson leads the Mid-South Conference with seven wins this season. He ranks second with a 2.13 earned run average and a .227 opposing batting average and fourth with 42 strikeouts.

Joining Curley and Wilson on the all-conference team is Campbellsville's Brian Chase, Ian Pick, Logan Smith, Zach Townsend and Jimmy Voelker; University of the Cumberlands' Drew Denton, Devin Hicks, Dylan Holt and Sean Malhey; Georgetown College's Bryan Bonner, Jake Mahan, K.C. Massie and Eric Severson; West Virginia University Tech's Gerardo Hernandez and Jeff Kraulis; and St. Catharine College's Travis Adams.

West Virginia Tech's Willie Bays was selected as the MSC Baseball Freshman of the Year. Bays enters the MSC Tournament hitting .405 with three home runs and 35 RBIs.

Campbellsville's Beauford Sanders was selected by his peers as MSC Coach of the Year. Sanders led the Tigers to the MSC regular season title with a 16-1 conference mark and a 32-8 overall record heading into this weekend's tournament.
