NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Shawnee State (Ohio) is the only team from the Mid-South Conference ranked inside the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' poll, the national office announced on Wednesday.

Campbellsville (Ky.) is outside of the top 25, but they are mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll. 

Shawnee State remains at No.9 as they picked up 427 total points this week. The Bears are coming off a team victory at the Mid-South Conference Preview. Seth Farmer finished in first place with a time of 15:38.23. Shawnee State had six of the top 10 finishers for the meet.

Campbellsville is mentioned in the poll as they are in the receiving votes section of the poll for the second-straight week. Campbellsville recieved 53 voting points after finishing second behind Shawnee State in the Mid-South Conference Preview.

Defending champion Southern Oregon remains at the No.1 spot in the first top 25 poll. St. Francis (Ill.) holds second spot with 568 points.

British Columbia held at No. 3 with 560 total points. The Master's (Calif.) is No. 4 with 514 points, followed by Eastern Oregon in fifth with 512 points.

The national poll is voted on by a panel of head coaches representing either a conference or the independents.

The next poll is scheduled to be released on Sept. 27.
