NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll

COLUMBIA, Ky. – Reinhardt (Ga.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), and Southeastern (Fla.) are all ranked inside the top 10 of the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 Poll, while Georgetown (Ky.) also lands inside the top 25, the national office announced on Monday.

Cumberland (Tenn.) is also mentioned in the receiving votes section of the poll.

Reinhardt remains No. 3 in the national poll with 311 voting points following their 2-0 start to the season. The Eagles defeated Faulkner (Ala.) last week, 54-31.

This week, Reinhardt hosts Webber International (Fla.) on Saturday afternoon.

Lindsey Wilson moves up two spots to No. 6 in the polls. The Blue Raiders earned 275 total voting points after a 2-0 start to the season. In their two victories, Lindsey Wilson has outscored their opponents, 90-10.

Lindsey Wilson travels to Union (Ky.) this week.

Southeastern sneaks into the top 10 this week after earning 206 voting points, landing them the No. 10 ranking. After Hurricane Irma canceled their last game, the Fire host Bluefield (Va.) on Saturday night.

No. 16 Georgetown is the last MSC team ranked inside the top 25. The Tigers received 131 points after a 40-39 overtime victory over Faulkner (Ala.) in week two.

Georgetown returns to the field this week as they host Point (Ga.) Saturday afternoon.

Cumberland (Tenn.) sits just outside the top 25 following a 3-0 start to the season. The Phoenix picked up 23 voting points after defeating Webber International, 38-24.

Cumberland travels to Edward Waters (Fla.) on Saturday.

Saint Francis (Ind.) holds down the No. 1 ranking for the third straight week, garnering all 15 first-place votes and 340 total points. Baker (Kan.) remains number No. 2 in the poll with 327 total points.

Morningside (Iowa) is fourth in the national poll with 304 points. Montana Tech rounds out the top five with 288 points.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and Independents.

The next regular season poll is scheduled to be released on Monday, Sept. 18.
