Daktronics-NAIA Men's Tennis Scholar-Athletes | Daktronics-NAIA Women's Tennis Scholar-Athletes

MOBILE, Ala. – Ten Mid-South Conference men's tennis student-athletes and seven women's tennis student-athletes earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete honors, the national office announced on Friday.

In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.50 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least junior academic status.

Campbellsville (Ky.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Georgetown (Ky.) and Pikeville (Ky.) each had two student-athletes earned the award on the men's side. Cumberland (Tenn.) and Georgetown led the MSC with two women each earning scholar-athlete accolades.

A total of 109 men's tennis student-athletes earned the national honor, with Mobile (Ala.) leading the way with six honorees. On the women's side, a total of 147 individuals earned the recognition with Doane (Neb.), Indiana Wesleyan and Southwestern (Kan.) leading the nation with seven award winners each.
