SILVIS, Ill. – Cumberlands' (Ky.) Ben Kendrick finished the third round with a three-day total of 1-over par 214, which is one stroke of the lead, at the 2017 NAIA Men's Golf National Championship at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill.

The final round of the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship begins 7 a.m. CT on Friday morning.

After not being able to finish the second round on Wednesday, Kendrick had to finish his second round on Thursday morning, where he finished at 2-under par 69. Kendrick then posted a 1-under par 70 in the third round later in the afternoon.

Over the first three days of the tournament, Kendrick has compiled a 1-over par 214 (75-69-70) and is one shot behind Rowan Lester of Texas Wesleyan who has three-round score of even-par 213.

Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Rasmus Lind finished his second round on Thursday morning and posted a 6-over par 77. Lind was tied for 43rd after round two with a 13-over par 155, which was below the cut line for the individuals.

Cumberland (Tenn.) – who finished its second round on Wednesday – missed the team cut line and finished the tournament with a two-day total of 97-over par 665, which was 26th in the field after round two.

Following three rounds of play, Cardinal Stritch (Wis.) continues to lead the tournament at 37-over par 889. Grand View (Iowa) and Texas Wesleyan have moved up after each round of the tournament and are tied for second place at 50-over par 902 heading into the final round.

The final round of the men's golf national tournament is set to begin at 7 a.m. CT on Friday morning at TPC Deere Run. Kendrick is slated to be in the first group off the first tee at 7 a.m. CT.
