LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Lindsey Wilson College junior Krista Burton is the Mid-South Conference Women's Golfer of the Week for the week ending April 11, according to the conference.

Burton finished a conference-best third at the Mid-South Conference Spring Tournament at London Country Club to earn her second straight weekly conference award this season.

The Jamestown, Ky., native, shot a 156 (83-73) on the 5,820 yard, par 71 course over the two-day tournament in harsh conditions. Her second round 73 tied for the second best round in the event.

Burton led the Blue Raiders to a second place finish in the event behind non-conference California Baptist University.
