COLUMBIA, Ky. – Campbellsville's (Ky.) Neely Quint and Tori Humphrey are the Mid-South Conference Softball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

Houchens Industries is the proud sponsor of the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week Award program. Houchens Industries was founded in 1917 and is one of the largest employee-owned companies in the United States with more than 18,000 corporate-wide employees.

MSC Softball Pitcher of the Week

Neely Quint – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Jr. – Pitcher – Brookport, Ill.

  • Quint picked up three wins in her three appearances last week, to help the Tigers go 6-0 overall.
  • She finished the week with a 2.19 earned run average and struck out a total of 10 batters in her three games.
  • Quint highlighted the week with a pair of gems against Shawnee State (Ohio) allowing one hit in each of her five inning outings to pace the Tigers to 8-0 and 10-0 victories.
  • Campbellsville moves to 17-7 on the season and 4-0 in the Mid-South Conference.
  • Quint earns her second weekly honor of the season and fourth of her career.
 

MSC Softball Player of the Week

Tori Humphrey – Campbellsville (Ky.) – Fr. – Infielder – Paducah, Ky.

  • Humphrey averaged 0.556 at the plate last week to lead No. 12 Campbellsville to a 6-0 record last week.
  • She hit two home runs and had seven RBIs in her six games, while recording a slugging percentage of 1.000.
  • In the first game of the Tigers' four-game set at Shawnee State, Humphrey when 3-for-4 at the plate with two home runs and four runs batted in. She also scored three of her eight total runs last week in Campbellsville's 11-2 win.
  • The Tigers now sit at 17-7 on the season.
  • Humphrey earns her second weekly honor of the season and of her career.
