COLUMBIA, Ky. – Cumberland's (Tenn.) Austin Krajnak and Cumberlands' (Ky.) Noah Gapp are the Mid-South Conference Baseball Players of the Week, conference officials announced on Monday.

MSC Baseball Player of the Week

Austin Krajnak – Cumberland (Tenn.) – Sr. – Outfielder – Little Elm, Texas

  • Over seven games last week, Krajnak compiled a .476 batting average and a 1.143 slugging percentage.
  • He finished the week with four home runs, nine RBIs and nine runs scored, while also being walked eight times.
  • Krajnak homered in each of the three conference games against Georgetown (Ky.) this past weekend. He highlighted the week going 2-for-3 in the second game of the weekend series, while driving in two runs, scorings two runs, walking twice and hitting his third home run of the week.
  • He leads the conference with 12 homeruns and 34 runs batted in. On the season, Cumberland has compiled a 16-15 record.
  • Krajnak earns his second-straight weekly honor and second of his career.

MSC Baseball Pitcher of the Week

Noah Gapp – Cumberlands (Ky.) – Sr. – Pitcher – St. Albert, Alberta

  • Gapp pitched seven innings to lead Cumberlands to a 5-1 win over Robert Morris (Ill.) last weekend.
  • He recorded 10 strikeouts in the game, which marks his third-straight appearance with at least 10 strikeouts.
  • Gapp gave up just one run on five hits in the game. He leads the conference in earned run average (0.68), opponents batting average (0.168), innings pitched (53.1), strikeouts (58) and wins (six).
  • After going 3-1 last week, the Patriots sit at 21-7 on the season.
  • The weekly honor is Gapp's second-straight and third of his career.
