KINGSPORT, Tenn. – Campbellsville's (Ky.) Isaac Lewis was named the 2017 Mid-South Conference Men's Swimming Champion of Character and Lindsey Wilson's (Ky.) Alicia Kemnitz was named the MSC Coach of the Year, at the conferences annual banquet on Wednesday night.

Harris was selected from a group of champions of character nominees based on his academic and athletic achievement, campus and community leadership, future ambition and demonstration of the five core character values of the NAIA.

Kemnitz earns her second Mid-South Conference Men's Swimming Coach of the Year honor in her career after winning the award in 2015. She has helped the Lindsey Wilson men's team to eighth spot in the national poll. The Blue Raiders have compiled a 6-3 dual record this season.

The Mid-South Conference Swimmers of the Week and the MSC Academic honorees were also recognized during the event.

The 2017 MSC Swimming Championships begin on Thursday morning at 10 a.m. ET in Kingsport, Tennessee at the Kingsport Aquatics Center.
