COLUMBIA, Ky. – The Mid-South Conference Swimming Championships return to the Kingsport Aquatic Center on Thursday morning.

Bethel (Tenn.), Campbellsville (Ky.), Cumberlands (Ky.), Life (Ga.), Lindenwood-Belleville (Ill.), Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) and Loyola travel to Kingsport, Tennessee for the 2017 MSC Championships.

Three men's teams and two women's teams are ranked in the NAIA Swimming Coaches' Top 10 Polls. On the men's side, Cumberlands is fifth in the poll, while Lindenwood-Belleville and Lindsey Wilson are tied for eighth in the poll. In the women's poll, Cumberlands is ranked at No. 5 and Lindsey Wilson is ranked seventh.

The conference championship features 36 swimming events, to go along with three diving disciplines.

At the 2016 MSC Championships, Lindenwood-Belleville won its first Mid-South Conference title on the men's side, while the women's team for Cumberlands won its second-straight conference crown.

Competition starts at 10 a.m. ET on Thursday with preliminary heats and the first set of finals are slated for 5:30 p.m. ET on Thursday night. Action continues at 10 a.m. ET on Friday and session four is slated for Friday night at 5:30 p.m. ET.

The final day of competition starts at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday, followed by the final session of the meet at 5 p.m. ET on Saturday.
